The Centernary Jubilee of St. Francis De Sales' Church at Amandoluwa in the Parish of Seeduwa, was held on 24th & 25th January 2010. His Grace Archbishop Malcolm Ranjith presided at the Solemn Jubilee Eucharistic celebration together with His Lordship Bishop Cletus Perera OSB, the Bishop of Ratnapura, Very Rev. Fr. Ivan Perera Episcopal Vicar, Rev. Fr. Basil Wickramasinghe Parish Priest of Seeduwa, Rev. Fr. John Hettiarachchi resident at Bandarawatta Church, Rev. Fr. Shihan Indika Assistant Parish Priest and Rev. Fr. Roshan

The youth of the parish welcomed His Grace Archbishop Malcolm at the Dandugama bridge and accomapnied him in a colourful motor cycle parade to Amandoluwa, where the Parish Priest Fr. basil Wickramasinghe and the parishioners welcomed him. Colour procession proceeded to the church with several bands of the children in a beautifully decorated road.

His Grace Archbishop Malcolm preaching at the Jubilee Mass appealed to the faithful to long for the eternal life in God and live the life that God has given to everyone.

Fr. Basil Wickramasinghe thanked all present specially the faithful of Amandoluwa for cooperating and for their enthusiasm in preparing the Jubilee celebrations. His Grace Archbishop Malcolm and Bishop Clestus OSB also planted two coconut plants on the occasionof the Jubilee. The Jubilee programme was concluded with the declaration the Jubilee programme by Archbishop Malcolm.
